Good grief... life! This was the response from a friend of mine when asked about a name for this web site. Although I did not use it, I think it is quite appropriate for life. There have been many times when I have thought this - my guess is that you have too. Sometimes we wonder what God is doing, especially when circumstances come across our paths that we do not understand. When this has happened to you, what have your responses been? Mine have sometimes been sadness and sometimes anger. I believe the key to working through the difficult times is our perception on who God is and who we are. When our perspective is not so good, everything else in our lives is not so good.
I have experienced many difficult and stressful times in my life. Unfortunately, I did not have a good support system in the early years, but God and I fought life out together. Although my learning curve was tremendous, there are still times I wish I would have had someone to encourage and build me up along the way. I do not want others to feel they are in this life alone, but want to walk alongside others to help them by being a good listener, being patient and in asking the right questions (of course, there is always my sense of humor). My passion is to help others find their way through Jesus Christ.
